Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery we will either exchange the product or issue a full refund within 14 days of your delivery. This does not effect your statutory rights.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a fully re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount.

If you are unhappy with your purchase and notify us within 7 working days of delivery (except beds and mattresses) we will offer you a choice of either exchanging to another product or collection and refund of the goods, providing that all items are returned in their original packing.

Please make sure that the furniture you are ordering is of the correct size and shape to gain access to the building or room into which the furniture needs to go.

We reserve the right to recover costs of collection & original delivery costs, which will be deducted from the refund amount. We are unable to offer a refund for lengths of fabric bought by the metre.

You need to ensure that all reasonable care is taken of the goods whilst in your possession and where possible, original wrappings must be retained and used for collection.

The supplier will liaise with you to arrange a mutually convenient day for collection and will complete the collection of cancelled goods. Once we have received confirmation that the goods have been collected and returned in good condition, we will issue the relevant refund.

Product Guarantees

Silentnight Beds & Mattresses

All Silentnight beds and mattresses are covered under the manufacturers 5 year guarantee. In the unlikely event that a problem should arise due to either faulty material or poor workmanship, during the first year they promise to replace any part or all of the product that is defective completely free of charge.

In subsequent years, a contribution towards replacement goods is needed. This is based on a sliding scale, the older the product is the more you would need to contribute towards the replacement. The charges are as follows:

Rest Assured Beds & Mattresses

All Rest Assured beds and mattresses are covered under the manufacturers 5 -year guarantee. In the unlikely event that a problem should arise due to either faulty material or poor workmanship, during the first year they promise to replace any part or all of the product that is defective, completely free of charge.

In subsequent years, a contribution towards replacement goods is needed. This is based on a sliding scale, the older the product is the more you would need to contribute towards the replacement. The charges are as follows:

Sealy Beds & Mattresses

Sealy Beds are covered under the manufacturers 9 year warranty. In the unlikely event that a problem should arise due to either faulty material or poor workmanship, during the first year they promise to replace any part or all of the product that is defective, completely free of charge.

In subsequent years, a contribution towards replacement goods is needed. This is based on a sliding scale, the older the product is the more you would need to contribute towards the replacement. The charges are as follows:

All Sealy Mattresses carry a 1 year manufacturers guarantee.

In order to validate the guarantee, you would need to comply with the manufacturers guarantee conditions. The contract of sale exists between us the retailer and you the consumer. Consequently, if you have cause to complain please contact Relax Sofas and Beds quoting your order reference number and an outline of the nature of your complaint. We will then liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf. 

Other Products

All other products carry a 1 year manufacturers guarantee. If you have cause to complain then please contact Relax Sofas and Beds as soon as possible.

Payment

We accept the following credit and debit cards: VISA, Mastercard, Switch and Maestro  Full payment of the balance of the order must be made, at the most, 5 working days before delivery is anticipated.

All orders over the value of £750 are able to be ordered with a 20% deposit only and the balance is payable prior to delivery. This option can be selected at the checkout, along with the BNPL interest free credit option.

All orders under £750 are required to be paid in full at time of ordering

Privacy and Security

We want you to shop with us with total confidence. All personal information is transferred from our web site into our secure database. Our secure server software fully encrypts all your personal information including your credit card/debit card number and your name and address.

Tax Charges

All prices quoted include VAT at 20%.

Tax Exempt Product

HMRC give a VAT exemption for 'Lift & Tilt' Reclining chairs for eligible customers. An exemption form can be downloaded from the site, which needs to be filled out and verified by Relax Sofas and Beds.

Descriptions

Every care has been taken to ensure descriptions, measurements and colours are correct.

All measurements are approximate, allowing for manufacturing tolerances.

Prices and details are valid at the time of ordering.

Luxury Fabrics used by most sofa manufacturers are subject to pressure marking. This is where shading can occur due to the change of light when the pile is naturally flattened during use.

This IS NOT a fault, nor will it detract from the wearing properties of the material.

Please note that none of the above Terms and Conditions affect your statutory rights.
