SINGLE OR DUAL MOTOR
This chair has been specifically designed to assist sufferers of arthritis, rheumatism, MS, poor circulation and many other mobility restrictions. The chair lifts up and tilts forward so that getting in and out of it is the easiest thing imaginable. The chair also reclines too, relieving pressure on painful joints, enabling you to find the most comfortable position to sit down in.
The chair is available with either a Single or Dual motor reclining action. On the Single Motor action the footrest needs to be raised fully before the back starts reclining. On the Dual Motor action a separate motor controls the backrest and footrest, so you can move the two parts independently to reach the exact position you desire.
The dual motor model also reclines further than the single motor model, to a more horizontal position. For this reason, a single motor chair only needs to be positioned 20cm (8”) from the wall to fully recline. Whereas with a dual motor, there needs to be a gap of 38cm (15”).
SIDE POCKET OPTION
A generous side pocket is fitted to this Lift and Rise Chair which homes the remote control. You can specify which side of the chair you would like this pocket fitted to. So, if you’re right handed you can have the pocket on your right-hand side and if you’re left handed on your left-hand side.
MULTI-USE BATTERY BACK-UP OPTION
This Lift and Rise chair is fitted with a single-use emergency back-up. This allows one operation of the chair, returning it to the sitting position in the event of a power cut. As an optional extra you can choose to have a multi-use system fitted. This system allows you to continue to use the chair without mains power. Using this system, the recliner can complete approximately 20 cycles during a power failure.
The Claremont suite is available in a huge choice of quality fabrics, ranging from stylish chenilles to plain and patterned velvets in both modern and traditional designs. All fabrics are carefully selected for their popular colours, attractive designs and durability.
In Band B you will find a range of Aquaclean fabrics, which have been treated with a revolutionary fabric protector that allows you to clean stains using water only. The special coating is able to resist stains, such as wine, ink, sauce, fat, mud, chocolate and cream and can even prevent pets’ claws from fraying fabrics.
The Claremont Lift & Rise Chair is available with either castor or glide feet. Castors are designed for use on carpeted floors, to enable the furniture to be manoeuvred relatively easily, whereas Glides are designed for solid floors. Please note that the front set of feet lift away during operation to ensure the chair doesn't move accidently.
